Abstract :

Internet has become an important source of knowledge and information. It has revolutionized the access to Iinformation. New educational technology can provide opportunities to introduce new educational ideas. This new technology offers the facility for viewing, searching and downloading such as online newspapers, online books, journals, manuscripts and other electronic texts and images. The amount of information presently available on the Internet is an enormous number of some tens of millions of web pages alone which is growing daily. It is accessed from a variety of sources. Internet at present has become a multi-user facility within the reach of the common scholar. Most of the educational institutions have included Internet as an essential part of the Library and Documentation services because Internet is the best source of information provider for education.
